Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Philippe Perrot was worth USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,738.09) to a buyer in January 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Open House at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philippe Perrot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ta mère in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 72,250.00.

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Philippe Perrot war einem Käufer im Januar 2008 USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.738,09) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Open House bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philippe Perrot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ta mère im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.250,00.
