Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Catching The Bait by Philip R. Goodwin for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,504.04). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip R. Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Northwood King--Calling the Moose in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 244,678.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Catching The Bait von Philip R. Goodwin für USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.504,04) erwerben.
