In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Visions of the West: American Paintings from the William I. Koch Collection, which included the work A Call to Action by Philip R. Goodwin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 137,000.00 (€ 124,613.43), 71% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Philip R. Goodwin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Northwood King--Calling the Moose sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 269,000.00 (€ 244,678.92).

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Visions of the West: American Paintings from the William I. Koch Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Call to Action von Philip R. Goodwin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 124.613,43) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Philip R. Goodwin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Northwood King--Calling the Moose im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 244.678,92).
