This artwork by Philip Jackson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2013. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Mistress of the Ca d'Oro sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,425.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philip Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Don, which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,646.18).

In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Mistress of the Ca d'Oro für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.425,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Philip Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Don beobachtet, die im April 2014 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.646,18) versteigert wurde.
