Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British & Irish Art, which included the work Don Giovanni's Wine Jug by Philip Jackson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,489.87), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Don in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,646.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Don Giovanni's Wine Jug von Philip Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.489,87) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Jackson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Don im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.646,18).
