In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Skittles with Scarlatti by Philip Jackson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,221.99), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philip Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Don, which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,646.18).

Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skittles with Scarlatti von Philip Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.221,99) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Philip Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Don beobachtet, die im April 2014 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.646,18) versteigert wurde.
