The price achieved of GBP 17,640.00 (€ 20,686.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Alexius de László achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).
