Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A selfportrait by Philip Akkerman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2003. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Akkerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 10,710.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A selfportrait von Philip Akkerman kam im Juni 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Akkerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.710,00.
