In October last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Made in Holland, which included the work (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1991, nr. 82(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1992, nr. 101(iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2004, nr. 7(iv) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2005, nr. 81 by Philip Akkerman. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,930.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Philip Akkerman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 was auctioned for EUR 10,710.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.930,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
