In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work (I) Philip Akkerman, Schilderij 2000, Nr. 77 (Ii) Philip Akkerman, Schilderij 2001, Nr. 76 (Iii) Philip Akkerman, Schilderij 2002, Nr. 54 sold for EUR 10,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Philip Akkerman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of EUR 10,710.00.
