In November 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Self-portraits by Philip Akkerman. The price achieved of EUR 5,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Philip Akkerman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 was auctioned for EUR 10,710.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-portraits von Philip Akkerman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Philip Akkerman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 für EUR 10.710,00 versteigert.
