The work L'Entrée Du Village (The Gate Of The Village) by Pham Hau was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 600,000.00 (€ 68,297.47), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pham Hau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Sunset over Halong Bay in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,732,500.00 (€ 1,082,155.36).

Die Arbeit L'Entrée Du Village (The Gate Of The Village) von Pham Hau wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 68.297,47) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pham Hau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Sunset over Halong Bay im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.732.500,00 (€ 1.082.155,36).
