The work Village By A River by Pham Hau was worth HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 178,040.60) to a buyer in July 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Pham Hau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Golden Sunset over Halong Bay in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,732,500.00 (€ 1,082,155.36).

Die Arbeit Village By A River von Pham Hau war einem Käufer im Juli 2020 HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 178.040,60) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pham Hau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Golden Sunset over Halong Bay im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.732.500,00 (€ 1.082.155,36).
