Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pham Hau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Goldfish sold for HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 140,157.55) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pham Hau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Golden Sunset over Halong Bay in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,732,500.00 (€ 1,082,155.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pham Hau erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Goldfish für HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 140.157,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pham Hau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Golden Sunset over Halong Bay im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.732.500,00 (€ 1.082.155,36).
