Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Petr Vereshchagin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2017. In the Important Russian Art auction, the work Sebastopol sold for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,662.76) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petr Vereshchagin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 506,500.00 (€ 591,176.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Petr Vereshchagin erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Sebastopol für GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.662,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petr Vereshchagin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 506.500,00 (€ 591.176,21).
