Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Day Sale, which included the work View Of The River Chusovaya by Petr Vereshchagin. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 57,159.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petr Vereshchagin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 506,500.00 (€ 591,176.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of The River Chusovaya von Petr Vereshchagin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 57.159,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petr Vereshchagin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 506.500,00 (€ 591.176,21).
