The work Ust'-Koiva by Petr Vereshchagin was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,528.59), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Petr Vereshchagin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 506,500.00 (€ 591,176.21).

Die Arbeit Ust'-Koiva von Petr Vereshchagin wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 92.528,59) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Petr Vereshchagin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 506.500,00 (€ 591.176,21).
