Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Nude In Front Of A Mirror by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,352.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude In Front Of A Mirror von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.352,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
