Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction The Russian Sale, which included the work 'A street in Ryazan', 1931 by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky. The price achieved of GBP 87,750.00 (€ 104,667.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Russian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'A street in Ryazan', 1931 von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 87.750,00 (€ 104.667,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
