This artwork by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2020. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Green Oak Trees At Twilight sold for GBP 150,000.00 (€ 165,199.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Green Oak Trees At Twilight für GBP 150.000,00 (€ 165.199,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
