Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Harvest by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 206,498.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Harvest von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 206.498,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
