Despite a disappointment, a good price for Peter Stauss
This work of art by Peter Stauss could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Performance changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,719.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Performance is the most expensive artwork by Peter Stauss that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Peter Stauss
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Stauss konnte im September 2015 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Performance für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.719,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Performance das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peter Stauss, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
