Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Missionschule by Peter Stauss was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2011. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,944.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Stauss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Performance, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,719.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Missionschule von Peter Stauss kam im Februar 2011 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.944,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Stauss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Performance beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.719,23) versteigert wurde.
