Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Peter Schuyff was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 18,308.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Schuyff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Schuyff wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 18.308,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69) versteigert wurde.
