Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Peter Schuyff was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,795.00 (€ 12,435.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Schuyff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Schuyff wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.795,00 (€ 12.435,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69) versteigert wurde.
