Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Peter Schuyff for GBP 13,970.00 (€ 16,041.44). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Schuyff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Schuyff für GBP 13.970,00 (€ 16.041,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69) versteigert wurde.
