Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Paul Lens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A young gentleman wearing a black tricorn hat adorned with plumes, full face in silver-bordered red coat with slashed sleeves and silver frogging; purple curtain background in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 23,045.89).
