Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Peter Milton could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work The Jolly Corner changed hands for USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,209.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Peter Milton have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2015 by the work Daylilies (Mcnulty 96) at USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,248.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Milton konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit The Jolly Corner für USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.209,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Milton wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2015 die Arbeit Daylilies (Mcnulty 96) mit USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.248,63).
