Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Child's Play by Peter Milton. The price achieved of USD 512.00 (€ 483.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Milton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Daylilies (Mcnulty 96) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,248.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Child's Play von Peter Milton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 512,00 (€ 483,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Milton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Daylilies (Mcnulty 96) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.248,63).
