Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figure in Car by Peter McLaren was sold in the THE SCOTTISH SALE auction at Christies in London in October 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 12,286.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Peter McLaren have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2001 the work Still Life with Poppies was auctioned for GBP 9,987.50 (€ 15,893.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figure in Car von Peter McLaren wurde im Oktober 2002 in der Auktion THE SCOTTISH SALE bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.767,50 (€ 12.286,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Peter McLaren konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2001 die Arbeit Still Life with Poppies für GBP 9.987,50 (€ 15.893,26) versteigert.
