Sold at the upper estimate price
In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included this untitled work by Peter Kinley. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,701.77), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Kinley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio Interior With Window (Blue) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Kinley zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.701,77) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Kinley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio Interior With Window (Blue) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
