The work Catching The Breeze by Peter Graham was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2005. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 873.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sea worn rocks in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,443.95).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Catching The Breeze von Peter Graham wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 873,84) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sea worn rocks im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.443,95).
