Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Down from the hills by Peter Graham for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,829.41). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Peter Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sea worn rocks in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,443.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Down from the hills von Peter Graham für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.829,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sea worn rocks im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.443,95).
