Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stone Garden No.2 (Triptych)(Painted In 2012) by Peng Wei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 967,600.00 (€ 102,097.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peng Wei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stone Garden No.2 (Triptych)(Painted In 2012) von Peng Wei kam im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 967.600,00 (€ 102.097,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peng Wei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26) versteigert wurde.
