The work Robe Series: Flowing Water by Peng Wei was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The auction ended at the price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 350,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).

Die Arbeit Robe Series: Flowing Water von Peng Wei wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 350.000,00 – 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26).
