Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Robe Series: Antiquities by Peng Wei was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. It achieved a price of CNY 590,000.00 (€ 83,889.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peng Wei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Robe Series: Antiquities von Peng Wei wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 590.000,00 (€ 83.889,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Peng Wei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26) versteigert wurde.
