In May 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session, which included the work Roma by Pedro Coronel. The »bidding war« ended at USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,905.91), 61% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pedro Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Año 1 luna in March this year with an auction result of USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).

Im Mai 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roma von Pedro Coronel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.905,91) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Año 1 luna im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22).
