Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Rahilly could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Figure With Sunflowers changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,757.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Paul Rahilly have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2010 by the work Figure With A Painting at USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,676.20).
