Despite a disappointment, a good price for Paul Rahilly
When the work Figure With A Painting by Paul Rahilly was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,676.20). Despite this disappointing result, Figure With A Painting is the most expensive artwork by Paul Rahilly that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Figure With A Painting von Paul Rahilly im September 2010 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
