Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2001 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS, which included this untitled work by Paul Partos. The price achieved of AUD 23,500.00 (€ 14,086.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Paul Partos have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2003 the work Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) was auctioned for AUD 35,250.00 (€ 19,512.43).

Im Mai 2001 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Partos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 23.500,00 (€ 14.086,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Partos konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2003 die Arbeit Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) für AUD 35.250,00 (€ 19.512,43) versteigert.
