In November 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included this untitled work by Paul Partos. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 9,560.00 (€ 5,995.47), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Partos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series), which sold at auction in May 2003 for AUD 35,250.00 (€ 19,512.43).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Partos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 9.560,00 (€ 5.995,47) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Partos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2003 für AUD 35.250,00 (€ 19.512,43) versteigert wurde.
