This work without title by Paul Partos was sold in the AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in May 2001. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 9,400.00 (€ 5,634.44), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Partos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series), which sold at auction in May 2003 for AUD 35,250.00 (€ 19,512.43).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Partos wurde im Mai 2001 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 9.400,00 (€ 5.634,44) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Partos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2003 für AUD 35.250,00 (€ 19.512,43) versteigert wurde.
