Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Lamplight) by Paul P. for USD 4,375.00 (€ 2,917.83). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Part II at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul P. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,467.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Lamplight) von Paul P. für USD 4.375,00 (€ 2.917,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul P. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.467,95) versteigert wurde.
