Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Empire Marketing Board by Paul Nash. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,280.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bridge, Romney Marsh in October last year with an auction result of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 411,008.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Empire Marketing Board von Paul Nash zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.280,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Nash erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bridge, Romney Marsh im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 411.008,09).
