Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mirror Study (OX5A7431) by Paul Mpagi Sepuya was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,729.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Paul Mpagi Sepuya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2021 the work Self-Portrait Study with Two Figures (1506) was auctioned for USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,997.92).
