Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Haugh by Paul Morrison was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,183.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Morrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Haugh von Paul Morrison kam im Februar 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.183,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Morrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
