Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Black Dahlias by Paul Morrison was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2011. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,066.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Paul Morrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Black Dahlias von Paul Morrison kam im September 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.066,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Morrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
