Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work On The Beach At Deauville by Paul Michel Dupuy. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,395.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Michel Dupuy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Jeune Fille Au Drapeau Sur La Grande Plage À Biarritz in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 96,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit On The Beach At Deauville von Paul Michel Dupuy zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.395,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Michel Dupuy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Jeune Fille Au Drapeau Sur La Grande Plage À Biarritz im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.000,00.
