Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work Children playing on the beach of Biarritz by Paul Michel Dupuy. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Michel Dupuy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Jeune Fille Au Drapeau Sur La Grande Plage À Biarritz in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 96,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Children playing on the beach of Biarritz von Paul Michel Dupuy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Michel Dupuy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Jeune Fille Au Drapeau Sur La Grande Plage À Biarritz im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.000,00.
