In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Portraits of Three Composers: Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven sold for USD 1,664.00 (€ 1,572.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Landacre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Press in August this year with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,249.38).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Landacre erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner wurde die Arbeit Portraits of Three Composers: Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven für USD 1.664,00 (€ 1.572,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Landacre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Press im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.249,38).
